Kinetic Plasma Physics Using JAX
We wrote a 1D-1V Pythonic Vlasov-Poisson-Fokker-Planck solver last year and published it in JOSS. This used NumPy and was tested against well-established plasma physics calculations. There were a couple of principle design choices that were made.
